Subject to review of final plans, HPRB approval was given to the Rock Creek Property Group for its proposed adaptation. The proposal adds windows along the long side of the auditorium and the restoration of the exterior to the original design.
The Takoma News of July 6, 1923 proclaimed the theater second to none in the District of Columbia in both appearance and in the manner of presenting the program.
The interior has now been gutted and the dome is gone.
